Theory of Honor Killing!!!!

It was a self realization time after reading some motivational stuff. It read that i have great un-utilised hidden potential. So far i have used less than 10% of my real talent. It is really wastage of resources. Now, i decide that I will use each n every penny of my talent. So first thing.. i make a roadmap to use this so called powerful mind. "I will analyse and formulate a model for all d existing problem of the country".
Suddenly I hear avoice frm my frnd dat donn get marry in sme gotra otherwise .......??"""...ohh why sudnt i start wid dis problem.....

so thus first time im using my all skills n knowledge aquired from iit.

Theory of Honor Killing!!!!

A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way,

the honor of our society can be as low as the least honored person(love couple). 'Excessive Interference of KHAPS', as we know, kills lovers. But naturally, it attacks the least honored and weakest lover first. In this way, regular killing of lovers eliminates the lesser honored, making the society full of honored place. "That's why you always feel so honored after killing few pair of lovers(couples)."

I love her but I'm just too shy!!!

10th grade

As I sat there in English class, I stared at the girl next to me.
She was my so called "best friend". I stared at her long, silky hair, and wished she was mine. But she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. After class, she walked up to me and asked me for the notes she had missed the day before and handed them to her. She said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I wanted to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

11th grade
The phone rang. On the other end, it was her. She was in tears, mumbling on and on about how her love had broke her heart. She asked me to come over because she didn't want to be alone, so I did. As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her soft eyes, wishing she was mine. After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie, and three bags of chips, she decided to go to sleep. She looked at me, said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Senior year

The day before prom she walked to my locker. My date is sick" she said; he's not going to go well, I didn't have a date, and in 7th grade, we made a promise that if neither of us had dates, we would go together just as "best friends". So we did. Prom night, after everything was over, I was standing at her front door step. I stared at her as she smiled at me and stared at me with her crystal eyes. I want her to be mine, but she isn't think of me like that, and I know it. Then she said "I had the best time, thanks!" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Gradu
ation Day
A day passed, then a week, then a month. Before I could blink, it was graduation day. I watched as
her perfect body floated like an angel up on stage to get her diploma. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. Before everyone went home, she came to me in her smock and hat, and cried as I hugged her. Then she lifted her head from my shoulder and said, "you're my best friend, thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

A Few Years Later
That girl is getting married now. I watched her getting married and drive off to her new life, married to another man. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't see me like that, and I knew it. But before she drove away, she came to me and said "you came!". She said "thanks" with tears in her eyes. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Funeral
Years passed, I looked down at the coffin of a girl who used to be my "best friend". At the service, they read a diary entry she had wrote in her high school years. This is what it read: I stare at him wishing he was mine, but he doesn't notice me like that, and I know it. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love him but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why. I wish he would tell me he loved me! `I wish I did too...` I thought to my self, and I cried.

10 REASONS WHY I LIKE STARTUPS

1) The People - A real entrepreneur has a story, an ora and a passion(s)! he is an interesting person by his very nature. Entrepreneurs are unique in that they are limited only by determination and imagination not money or environment.

2) The Process - Building teams with vision and drive has got to be one of the most rewarding experiences. Leveraging knowledge from a group breeds a larger vision and more market opportunities.

3) The Fix - In startups, you can recognize a problem today and have it fixed by tomorrow, try doing that at Microsoft.

4) The Network - Entrepreneurs hire entrepreneurs, they are resourceful, crafty and creative, throw them all in one room long enough and they WILL find a way to make it work.

5) The Ambition - skills can be taught but ambition is contagious. Doing your best 150% of the time is par for the course at a great startup.

6) The MacGyver in Everyone - While most companies are full of Captain Mo, yours is full of MacGyvers (Minus the mullets). Give your team a locked safe, a toothpick and a shoe string and watch them go!

7) The Money - There usually isn't any, so it's obvious everyone is there because they want to be and not because they have to be. This brings out the best in your team.

8) The Learning - Startups are a crash course in business. College is great but this is the real deal.

9) The Camaraderie - You find out who you can really count on when your back is against the wall.

10) The FUN! - Startups are an emotional rollercoaster but are serious fun. I have experienced more personal growth in 2 months in a startup than in 4 years of college.

Forced Forward mails....

I wanted to thank all my friends and family who have forwarded chain
letters to me in 2006 & 2007 & 2008 & 2009.

Because of your kindness:

* I stopped drinking Coca Cola after I found out that it's good for
removing toilet stains.

* I stopped going to the movies for fear of sitting on a needle
infected with AIDS.

* I smell like a wet dog since I stopped using deodorants because they
cause cancer.

* I don't leave my car in the parking lot or any other place and
sometimes. I even have to walk about 7 blocks for fear that someone
will
drug me with a perfume sample and try to rob me.

* I also stopped answering the phon! e for fear that they may ask me to
dial a stupid number and then I get a phone bill from with calls to
Uganda, Singapore and Tokyo.

* I also stopped drinking anything out of a can for fear that I will
get sick from the rat feces and urine.

* When I go to parties, I don't look at any girl, no matter how hot she
is, for fear that she will take me to a hotel, drug me then take my
kidneys and leave me taking a nap in a bathtub full of ice.

* I also donated all my savings to the Amy Bruce account. A sick girl
that was about to die in the hospital about7,000 times. (Poor girl!
she's been 7 since 1993...)!

* I went bankrupt from bounced checks that I made expecting the
$15,000 that Microsoft and AOL were supposed to send me when I
participated
in their sp ecial e-mail program would arrive soon.

* My free Nokia phone never arrived and neither did the free passes for
a paid vacation to Disneyland.

* Still open to help some from Bulgaria who wants to use my account to
transfer his uncle property of some hundred millions $.

* Made some Hundred wishes before forwarding those Ganesh Vandana,
Tirupathi Balaji pics etc… now most of those 'Wishes' are already

जन गण मन रण

Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) decided to refuse permission under guideline 219 of Section 5 (b)2 of Cinematograph Act as well as Prevention of insult to National Honour Act 1971 the makers of Amitabh Bachchan-starrer 'Rann' to air the controversial song based on the national anthem.

But Ramu has his own reasons to belive.."this song isn't and shouldn't be misconstrued to be an aberration on the National Anthem. It's a song by itself that in a way tries to depict the current situation in the country. The reference to the National Anthem is also for the same."

Leave apart these two versions of story and you should decide your own about it. I am posting the lyrics of the controversial song.

Why I am a HINDU?

Three Years ago, I was attending a hukka[humanities course in IITD] Tutorial class , a beautiful western girl[exchange student] was sitting on the right side. It indeed was a boring class with lots off faith, religion and such things - it would take me nearly 20 minutes to say HI.

I was surprised to see the young girl's interest and also she was reading a Bible unusual of young
western youth. After some time she smiled and we had few acquaintances
Talk.

Then suddenly the girl asked: 'What's your faith?' 'What?' I didn't understand the question.

'I mean, what's your religion? Are you a Christian? Or a Muslim?'

'No!' I replied, 'I am neither Christian nor Muslim'.

Apparently she appeared shocked to listen to that. 'Then who are you?' 'I am a Hindu', I said.

She looked at me as if she was seeing a caged animal. She could not understand what I was talking about.

A Common man in Europe or US knows about Christianity and Islam, as they
are the leading religions of the world today. But a Hindu, what?

I explained to her - I am born to a Hindu father and Hindu mother. Therefore, I am a Hindu by birth.

'Who is your prophet?' she asked.

'We don't have a prophet,' I replied.

'What's your Holy Book?'

'We don't have a single Holy Book, but we have hundreds and thousands of philosophical and sacred scriptures,' I replied.

'Oh, come on at least tell me who is your God?'

'What do you mean by that?'

'Like we have Jesus and Muslims have Allah - don't you have a God?'

I Thought for a moment. Muslims and Christians believe one God (Male God)
Who created the world and takes an interest in the humans who inhabit
It. Her mind is conditioned with that kind of belief.

According To her (or anybody who doesn't know about Hinduism), a religion needs
To have one Prophet, one Holy book and one God. The mind is so
Conditioned and rigidly narrowed down to such a notion that anything
else is not acceptable.

I understood her perception and concept about
Faith. You can't compare Hinduism with any of the present leading
Religions where you have to believe in one concept of god.

I Tried to explain to her: 'You can believe in one god and he can be a
Hindu. You may believe in multiple deities and still you can be a
Hindu. What's more - you may not believe in god at all, still you can
Be a Hindu. An atheist can also be a Hindu.'
This Sounded very crazy to her. She couldn't imagine a religion so
Unorganized, still surviving for thousands of years, even after
Onslaught from foreign forces.

'I don't understand but it seems very interesting. Are you religious?'
What can I tell to this American girl?

I Said: 'I do not go to temple regularly. I do not make any regular
Rituals. I have learned some of the rituals in my younger days. I still
Enjoy doing it sometimes.'

'Enjoy? Are you not afraid of God?'

'God is a friend. No- I am not afraid of God. Nobody has made any compulsions on me to perform these rituals regularly.'
She thought for a while and then asked: 'Have you ever thought of converting to any other religion?'

'Why Should I?
Even if I challenge some of the rituals and faith in
Hinduism, nobody can convert me from Hinduism.

Because, being a Hindu allows me to think independently and objectively, without conditioning.

I remain as a Hindu never by force, but choice.'

Not a religion like Christianity or Islam because it is not founded by any one person or
Does not have an organized controlling body like the Church or the
Order, I added. There is no institution or authority.

'So, you don't believe in God?' she wanted everything in black and white.
'I Didn't say that. I do not discard the divine reality. Our scripture, or
Sruthis or Smrithis - Vedas and Upanishads or the Gita - say God might
Be there or he might not be there. But we pray to that supreme abstract
Authority (Para Brahma) that is the creator of this universe.'

'Why can't you believe in one personal God?'

'We have a concept - abstract - not a personal god. The concept or notion
of a personal God, hiding behind the clouds of secrecy, telling us irrational stories through few men whom he sends as messengers, demanding us to worship him or punish us, does not make sense.
I don't think that God is as silly as an autocratic emperor who wants others to
Respect him or fear him.'

I told her that such notions are just fancies of less educated human imagination and fallacies, adding that generally ethnic religious practitioners in Hinduism believe in personal gods.

The entry level Hinduism has over-whelming superstitions too. The
Philosophical side of Hinduism negates all superstitions.
'Good that you agree God might exist. You told that you pray. What is your prayer then?'

'Loka Samastha Sukino Bhavantu. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti,'

'Funny,' she laughed, 'What does it mean?'

'May all the beings in all the worlds be happy. Om Peace, Peace, Peace.'

'Hmm ..very interesting. I want to learn more about this religion. It is so democratic, broad-minded and free' she exclaimed.

'The fact is Hinduism is a religion of the individual, for the individual
And by the individual with its roots in the Vedas and the
Bhagavad-Gita. It is all about an individual approaching a personal God

Nobody Can convert you to Hinduism, because it is not a religion, but a set of
Beliefs and practices. Everything is acceptable in Hinduism because
There is no single authority or organization either to accept it or to
Reject it or to oppose it on behalf of Hinduism.'

I told her - if you look for meaning in life, don't look for it in religions; don't go from one cult to another or from one guru to the next.

For A real seeker, I told her, the Bible itself gives guidelines when it
Says ' Kingdom of God is within you.'

I reminded her of Christ's Teaching about the love that we have for each other. That is where you Can find the meaning of life.

Loving Each and every creation of the God is absolute and real. 'Isavasyam
Idam sarvam' Isam (the God) is present (inhabits) here everywhere -
Nothing exists separate from the God, because God is present
Everywhere. Respect every living being and non-living things as God.
That's what Hinduism teaches you.

Hinduism Is referred to as Sanathana Dharma, the eternal faith. It is based on
The practice of Dharma, the code of life. The most important aspect of
Hinduism is being truthful to oneself. Hinduism has no monopoly on
Ideas.- It is open to all. Hindus believe in one God (not a personal one) expressed in different Forms. For them, God is timeless and formless entity.

Ancestors of today's Hindus believe in eternal truths and cosmic laws and these
Truths are opened to anyone who seeks them. But there is a section of
Hindus who are either superstitious or turned fanatic to make this an
Organized religion like others. The British coin the word 'Hindu' and
Considered it as a religion

I Said: 'Religions have become an MLM (multi-level- marketing) industry
That has been trying to expand the market share by conversion. The
Biggest business in today's world is Spirituality. Hinduism is no
Exception'

I Am a Hindu primarily because it professes Non-violence - 'Ahimsa Paramo
Dharma' - Non violence is the highest duty. I am a Hindu because it
Doesn't conditions my mind with any faith system.

A man/ woman who change 's his/her birth religion to another religion
Is a fake and does not value his/her morals, culture and values in life.
Hinduism was the first religion originated. Be proud of your religion and be proud of who you are.

I have posted it here with little editing.
